ICE Out for Good Rally, Jan. 11th, 2026
On January 10th and 11th, thousands of Rhode Islanders gathered around the state, including over 2,500 at the State House in Providence, to mourn the death of Renee Nicole Good, who was brutally killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.
We are outraged by the killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE and came together to demand an end to the lawless, violent assault on our country and our citizens, by the corrupt totalitarian wanna be administration in Washington, D.C. We grieve her death and all the deaths that ICE is responsible for.
The ICE Out for Good actions in Rhode Island and around the nation demanded accountability for the killing and an end to violent ICE raids. We will not sit by while violence goes unanswered and our communities are terrorized.
No Kings Day, Oct. 18th, 30,000+ people
Donald Trump is the first US president to cut off SNAP benefits nationwide - using hunger as a weapon to strong arm his opponents to cave to his demands and end the shut-down. As a result, over 100,000 Rhode Islanders won't be able to buy groceries this month. We need your help to feed our neighbors. We can fight back against Trump’s cruelty by donating food, money, and our time. Indivisible RI is partnering with the RI AFL-CIO, SEIU1199, SEIU580, the Rhode Island Council of Churches, the RI Community Food Bank, RI United Way, and many more organizations to collect food and financial donations to make sure that no Rhode Islander goes hungry due to the Trump shutdown.
